Types of impactions (including all grades of acne, milia and cysts), why they happen and the various methods to extract them will be covered in detail. We use the Preston Rxtractor, Plamere plasma pen, Skin Classic, extraction tweezers, needles, lancets, as well as many more tools to aid in extractions. We also teach the correct method of manual extractions.
About the Course
This class is held from 9am – 1 pm at the Integrated Aesthetics Institute in Scottsdale AZ, and varying locations. Click on the class date to see the location.
The course will start with a detailed presentation, take a break, then expert educator, Millicent Russo, will coach you through every step of the extraction process. You must supply a model or two to practice on. You will receive a beautiful certificate of completion at the end of class. Limited Seating.
This class focuses on extraction methods and techniques, it is not an acne course. If you would like hands on only with the Preston Rxtractor, please see our Extraction Workshop.
Tuition plus kit $675
Tuition includes a full color manual, treatment notes, consent forms and all the supplies needed for class. The kit contains the Preston Rxtractor (a $150 value) extraction tweezers, lancets/needles and extraction supplies.
Registration
To hold your space in class, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required and applied to the balance. The remaining balance of $575 is due at the time of class. You can also pay the balance in full.
Prerequisites: Aesthetics license or higher and critical thinking skills.
After you pay the deposit, you will be asked to fill out a new student questionnaire/legal forms and more information about the class will be sent to you.

I left feeling SO confident in my ability to do this on my clients. I learned so much. Every minute was so useful, from the theory to the hands on learning. Even when I had questions about my own skin that had nothing to do with extractions, Millicent took the time to answer every single one. She really guided me and is so knowledgeable.
